Skip Hop Zoo Pack Review and Giveaway (+ Free Printable Nature Scavenger Hunt!)

Monday, May 12, 2014

Skip Hop contacted me about a product review and I said yes because we have and love their products.  I was not swayed by compensation because we were already huge fans of their products!

Don't forget to enter the awesome giveaway at the bottom of this post and grab a coupon code!

We LOVE Skip Hop Zoo Packs.  And Lunchies.  And Straw Bottles.  The kids got to pick from the multitude of adorable animals that Skip Hop has created and S struggled because there were just so many cute options!  She eventually settled on the cat.  X's absolute favorite animal is a hedgehog, so we were thrilled to learn that Skip Hop has a brand new hedgehog design as of this month.  X calls him "Hodgie!" and wants to carry him eeeeeverywhere.

Though there are tons of uses for Zoo Packs, Lunchies, and Straw Bottles - namely school (S is very excited to bring her cat to Kindergarten this fall), one of the things I love most about Skip Hop stuff is that it is both highly durable and highly washable - just perfect for some outdoor play!

X is one of those toddlers who is maddeningly particular about his sippy cups.  I honestly didn't think he'd drink from this bottle because there's literally only one brand he'll accept - but he LOVED Skip Hop's Straw Bottle (BPA free, of course).  Which is awesome, because it's WAY more portable than his usual sippy cup that is very prone to leaks.

S enjoyed being able to unzip her Zoo Pack and Lunchie all by herself.  And did I mention that on the cat pack and lunchie the zipper is styled like a mouse?  Seriously SO cute.

After a snack (which was nice and cold thanks to the insulated lunchie!), we moved on to the Scavenger Hunt (you can download the free printable here).

The kids were thrilled that they got to pack most of their loot in their Skip Hop bags (I drew the line at crawly bugs, but everything else made its way in).  I knew that the bags would clean super easily, so it was no problem.

S had a backpack full of dandelions by the end.  :)

Here's our free printable Nature Scavenger Hunt, if you'd like to use it on an outing with your littles.  :)

Skip Hop has generously offered both a rockin' discount and a fantastic giveaway.  From now (May 13th) through Saturday (May 17th), Fun at Home with Kids readers can buy anything from Skip Hop at a 20% discount using the code: 20OFFSKC

You can also enter our Rafflecopter giveaway for a chance to win one of FIVE complete sets like our kiddos got.  Each winner will get to select one Zoo Pack, one Lunchie, and one Straw Bottle of his/her choice!  The giveaway will run through Tuesday, May 27th and is open to US Residents only.
